An extremely rare and discounted cancelation opening has just become available at Rapids Camp Lodge for the most prime week of the season.
Mid-August is throwing a dart and hitting a bullseye for targeting rainbow trout as well as silver salmon at Rapids Camp Lodge. The angling opportunities are diverse with silver salmon often hitting a stripped (or swung fly), as well as regular action on the surface. With the sockeye salmon in vast supply, the heart of the Bristol Bay watershed is in full swing. With salmon flooding the estuaries, rainbow trout follow along upstream and gluttonously feast on their eggs. Sight fishing to these well gorged specimens is a favorite activity at this time of year.
