PRO Outfitters Kid's Camp

July 24 - 30, 2022

The PRO Outfitters Kid’s Camp is designed to be a fun, engaging summer camp for kids 11 to 18. Their goal is to give kids the ability to pick up a fly rod with enthusiasm and to leave them feeling comfortable and capable in any freshwater setting. They work to show kids a great time on and off the water. Camp takes place at the beautiful North Fork Crossing Lodge, which is a deluxe tent camp overlooking the legendary North Fork of the Blackfoot River, made famous by Norman Maclean’s A River Runs Through It and is open to all skill levels.

A typical day at camp begins with breakfast (served by their gourmet staff chef) followed by lawn casting and pond fishing on the property. The kids set off to fish the Blackfoot or Missouri Rivers, and stop half way through the day for lunch on the bank. When they arrive back at the lodge there is time for some games (tag football, volleyball, races, fishing contests, etc), then dinner is served. Each guide at the camp will work with two campers. This provides each child with a more focused learning and fishing experience. The guides are top notch and enjoy nothing more than introducing kids to the beauty of fly fishing in Montana. Kids are welcome to bring their own gear if they wish, but the outfitter can also provide anyone with gear at no additional cost
