Skagit lines
"I plan to buy two more in different line weights!"
Easy casting, powerful lines for big flies, heavy sink tips, and/or shorter Spey rods - with low-stretch, ultra-slick performance.

RIO's Skagit Max Power lines cast the largest flies and the heaviest sinking tips with exceptional ease. The unique weight distribution deeply loads rods for long casts while the powerful front taper delivers enough punch to turn over all the weight you need to get the fly into the strike zone. Shorter head lengths make the Max Power the perfect choice for shorter rods or when space behind the caster is limited.
Each line is built on RIO's low-stretch ConnectCore Plus with an integrated running line, giving the angler enhanced detection of takes, more positive hook sets, and greater control when playing a fish. In addition, SlickCast coating technology creates the slickest, most durable coating on the market—producing the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.

"Gained 20 foot casts from this line. No problem chucking bigger flies/heavy sink tips. Smooth thin stripping line makes it nice on the hands. Thumbs up. Great line. Quick delivery. 👍"

"Best short headed Skagit i have used - i can throw 10’,12,’ 15’ tips - the super slick integrated running line is almost, as slick as mono running lines, without the slinky effect, while fishing the cold Ontario Great Lakes tribs - good job RIO ! - also -you have the S3 covered with the pickpockets- i think you need a FHIntermediate to maximize the versatility of this head configuration"
