Overview
Designed for anglers fishing small creeks and streams with a taper design that loads at close range, with ultra-slick performance
RIO's Creek line has been designed for anglers that fish small creeks and streams. The line loads at close range, allowing anglers to make short casts of 10 to 15 feet with ease, yet has enough body and head length for those occasions when a longer cast is needed. Each line is built on a supple coldwater core for tangle-free performance, and features SlickCast—the slickest, most durable coating on the market. In addition, the line features MaxFloat Tip Technology, RIO's proprietary tip coating formula that floats more than twice as high as regular line tips, without any increase in diameter.

Perfection
"Just got back from taking it out for the first time and couldnt be more pleased. Casted smooth, nice for short shots but it could still handle the longer shots when needed."

Smooth as silk!
"I first tried Creek with my 3wt while I was teaching a class and using my 7. 5' to demonstrate for a student. The line was shooting 40-50 feet without the slightest effort. And with pinpoint accuracy. The student was impressed but they didn't really know any better. I continued to be impressed as I used it that day and have been using it ever since. I now have it on my 7. 5' 3wt, 8. 6' 4wt and my 8. 5' 5wt. Love the line and strongly recommend it to my students for lightweight applications. Thanks to Darin, our Far Bank Rep for recommending it."

Easy casting line
"I have the 4wt line on my Beulah Platinum 8'8" 4wt rod, and it's such a pleasant, easy casting line. I've been using it several months in my farm pond catching 12" hybrid striped bass, 13" - 14" rainbows, and fat bluegills using a dry / dropper rig with bead head nymph or worm underneath. Cast beautifully from 15' to 45'. I'm really wanting this line in a 6wt for fishing heavier double nymph rigs, balanced leeches or girdle bugs under a larger indicator when those hybrids reach 15" this summer."

Loads the rod quickly and efficiently for great casts.
"This line does exactly what it's designed to do - load your rod quickly with minimal line out of the tip to make great cases in tight quarters. Love it on my 7 1/2' 4wt bamboo rod fishing small creeks for native trout, but also shooting line 50' in a farm pond for big panfish on hoppers. Overall just a great line for beginnings and pro's alike."

Great line
"Great line! Easy to cast in small spaces. Easily turned over a dry dropper rig, and didn't slam the watter when casting size BWO."
