RIO'S FLY CLIPS are ultra-fast, easy connection clips that allow anglers to change flies with extreme ease and speed, and prevents leaders and tippet sections getting too short. Simply tie the appropriate sized clip on to the end of your leader and either twist or clip on your fly. Multiple sizes of clip ensure that there is a clip size suitable for the majority of fly sizes.

RIO recommends the RIO Twist Clips for larger streamers and Salmon/steelhead patterns, and the RIO Fly Clip for smaller dries, nymphs and soft hackles.

Simplify winter fishing

"The clips hold form really well. I tie them on a short leader on my streamers. I clip them into a micro swivel to simplify changes when fishing in the winter."

Great for all my #4-5-6 tippet flies.

"Rio fly clips and twist clips are the only ones that have fully closed eyes for tippet. Others I have purchased have enough of a gap that the knotted tippet slips off. The three sizes of fly clips hold my smaller fresh water flies. Much better than spending time in the water tying knots, especially when you are as old as i am!"

Decent

"Works, takes some patience"

Makes my life so easy!

"Like a banana slicer, only easier. I can change out big, dry fly attractors in seconds with 0 knots and it makes guiding that much easier. I used them in the small sizes for dries down to 10, maybe 12. I also sued them for throwing streamers on days that I didn't know what the fish wanted. I like how they let the fly move freely and the clip is strong. Hopefully these stay in stock a while, I can see using them for years to come. I use a palomar knot to secure them fast and strong."
