Technical
"The fly line is well named. It is for a technical fisherman that wants very small diameter and quick sink."
Primary: Euro Nymphing / Line Sensitivity

RIO's Technical Euro Nymph line has all the assets for the modern nymph angler. Built on a monofilament core that creates a stiff, slick line for quick feeding and less line sag between the rod guides, and an ultra-thin diameter to maximize sensitivity, and for lightning-fast hook sets. In addition, the core extends past the front end of the line to become a leader—resulting in no knots to get caught in the guides. The level line can be cut to length (from the back), allowing anglers to tune the line to the perfect length. The leader is .013" in diameter, pink to be easily seen, and is level, so can also be cut and tuned for varying situations.

"I have done limited Euro nymphing and bought this specifically for fishing for large trout in Slovenia. Worked very well and as advertised. Took many 6-8 pound rainbows on this with 7X tippet."

"I haven’t fished this line yet, but I really like the sighter line integrated into the fly line with no knots."

"Best Euro Line by far! No sag between guides very well thought out."

"I am very likely in the minority, but I have owned three of these lines over time. The durability of the line and especially sighter is limited. I don’t think there’s much to do about that since it is essentially mono core line, and they get kinky, and no amount of straightening will stick for very long.. Visibility and handling wise for the first season (or dozen or so outings) these lines are just great. But somewhere along the way, the mono core wjere exposed will in fact get all kinked up and become insensitive. On two of these that I have owned, I have also had the fly line about where my hands handle the line become kinked up and damaged as well. If you’re going to play big fish on these lines, and you definitely can, get the fish on the reel or assume the line will get compromised. I replaced the most recent after only 15 or 20 outings. Will try something else, and maybe I’ll come back to it…"

"Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet"

"By far the best euro line I have used, the leader incorporated in the core of the fly line itself gives the angler a seamless no knot connection. The sensitivity is incredible. A very easy set up, add a sighter, tippet ring, tippet and flies."

"Enjoy the videos so ordering was easy and follow up and tracking were excellent."

"Very thin line, excellent for euro nymphing."

"A great product but I wish they would add a leader on the other end of the line. When one ends up wearing out I can switch to the other end. Reduce the amount of coiling up you get in the line. After each fishing trip, I have to get the coils out by straightening out the fly line."
