Williamson River with Paul McDonald
The Williamson River is unlike most trout rivers in the west. Fishing for large trout improves as the air temperature rises. The river terminates in Klamath Lake which is Oregon’s largest lake with an average depth of 12-feet. As the lake warms the fish migrate upriver to the colder waters of the Williamson. It is here that guests catch trout that often average over 20-inches.
