With fishing, hiking, sea kayaking, mountain biking and coastal tours, as well as an acclaimed spring heli-skiing program where you can descend from summit to the sea, Deplar Farm is in a class by itself.

The Rivers:
The Fljotaa River: A small, exclusive river five miles from the lodge that holds a good salmon run with fish in the 8 to 15-pound range. Only four anglers per day are allowed on the river so anglers will have exclusive use of the four individual beats on the river.

The Holkna River: Possibly the most exclusive and remote salmon river in all of Iceland. The Holkna only allows two anglers on an 8-mile stretch of river with 27 marked pools and countless unmarked pools. The Holkna is one of the gems of Iceland due to it being catch-and-release and fly angling only.

The Huseyjarkvisl: One of the only rivers in Iceland that offers world-class salmon and sea trout fishing. Only three anglers per day are allowed on the river that is only an hour from Deplar Farm.
