This general attractor nymph represents any number of aquatic insects. It's "messy" appearance traps air as you cast and releases bubbles in the water which gives the impression of life, while the wood duck tail and collar move well in the water for added lifelikeness. This fly can be dead drifted or stripped in small bursts to mimic swimming insects.
