One of the flies I designed for redfish was the RIO's Muffin Top, which had a long flashabou tail meant to entice redfish. Last summer I was approached by a few of our marketing team members and told that they had been taking the RIO's Muffin Top, cutting the tail off, and slaying carp on it for years. So this fly is the tail-less version of the RIO's Muffin Top and apparently the best carp fly out there.
