This fly was inspired by the incredible dragon dry fly fishing in Chile and Argentina. None of the patterns on the market had the proper profile, density, buoyancy, or durability that was needed. My solution was to use the same principles that I had used in the creation of the Morrish Hopper but make a dragonfly instead. It is a great dry and also a fun, highly buoyant indicator fly from which leeches and nymphs can be suspended.
