This hosted trip combines two of SET Fly Fishing's flagship lodges into one itinerary, giving anglers a true taste of the region’s variety: wetland sight fishing, big river streamer fishing, comfortable lodging, a safari camp, excellent food, and one of the most exciting freshwater species in the world.
The itinerary will combine two of SET’s premier lodges: La Alondra’i and Jetu’u. Along the way, anglers will target multiple species while experiencing the polished lodging at Jetu'u, an overnight glamping trip in La Alondra'i, excellent food, and hospitality that have made SET one of the benchmark outfitter programs in South America.
La Alondra’i: A remote safari-style experience deep in the Ibera wetlands focused on immersive sight fishing, intimate water, and the wild atmosphere of the marsh. Two nights will be spent deep in the marsh at a remote glamping camp perched above the water.
Jetu’u: Fast-paced, high number fishing on the Ysoro marsh and middle Parana system where anglers can target multiple species across an incredibly diverse mix of water.
Like all dorado fishing, success comes through persistence, accurate casting, and embracing the chaos that comes with the explosive eats of the fish built entirely around violence. But the unpredictability is exactly what makes this fishery so addictive. From surface eats in the marsh to streamer fishing heavy river current, this program captures nearly every angle of dorado fishing in one trip.

Itinerary
Thursday, March 11: Depart home.
Friday, March 12: Arrive Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE). Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Saturday, March 13: Fly from Buenos Aires to Corrientes (CNQ). Upon arrival, transfer to La Alondra’i Lodge and prepare gear for the week ahead.
Sunday, March 14 - Tuesday, March 16
Fish the Ibera Wetlands while rotating through SET’s remote safari-style outcamps based on conditions and guest preferences.
Wednesday, March 17: Transfer from La Alondra’i to Jetu’u Lodge and fish the Ysoro wetlands upon arrival.
Thursday, March 18 - Friday, March 19: Full days of guided fishing on the Ysoro marsh and middle Parana River.
Saturday, March 20: Transfer to Corrientes Airport for flights back to Buenos Aires and onward international departures.
