Itinerary 2025 (5 nights/4 days)

  • March 30: Depart Fort Lauderdale, arrive Congo Town Andros, arrive Andros South Lodge
  • March 31 - April 3: 4 days guided fishing
  • April 4: Depart Andros South, depart Congo Town, arrive Fort Lauderdale

Rate: $5,150 + $515 Bahamian VAT per person based private room/shared boat for
a 5 night/4 day package

Included: Accommodations, meals and beverages including beer, wine and hard alcohol at the lodge, transfers between Congo Town airport and the lodge, all ground transportation on South Andros, fishing license, guided fishing (on a “willing to share” basis unless otherwise noted), limited loaner tackle, Bahamas VAT tax.

Not Included: All airfare, staff, and guide gratuities.

Hannah Myers Overgaard & Jessica Whitman

Hannah Myers Overgaard was born and raised in Transylvania County.  As a local to Rosman, she grew up playing in the creeks and woods surrounding her home. From a young age she was sure that the outdoor industry would be a path she would take. Finding joy in clients that become like family while experiencing the outdoors every day makes her feel right at home on the river.

Jessica Whitmire was born and raised in Transylvania County, Jessica is proud to be the 2nd generation running Headwaters.  Her parents founded Headwaters in 1992 when she was 6 years old.  The business and the French Broad River is deeply ingrained in who she is.  Jessica runs the day to day behind the scenes here at the shop.  She loves fishing, being on the river and spending time with Chris and their wild child Waylon.
