Cape Cod School of Saltwater Fly Fishing with Simon Gawesworth
July 8 - 10, 2023
Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Join Far Bank Enterprises' Education and Engagement Manager Simon Gawesworth for a highly educational, in-depth Saltwater School on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Whether you are a seasoned fly angler or new to the sport, this trip to Cape Cod with Simon Gawesworth is sure to be an exciting and educational adventure. Simon will be traveling with the latest Sage and Redington fly rods and RIO fly lines perfectly suited for saltwater fly fishing. Students will learn in a well-appointed classroom and on the picturesque beaches of the Wequassett Resort in Harwich, MA. The first two days include instruction on Cape Cod’s wide variety of saltwater angling opportunities, target fish species, safe navigation of tides, gear selection, and conservation topics as well as plenty of casting instruction focused on saltwater techniques. The third day provides students the opportunity to take their new skills on the water with half-day guided fishing trips with some of Cape Cod’s top fly fishing guides.
Far Bank Fly Fishing Schools are designed so students leave the course with all the knowledge and skills needed for a lifetime of enjoyment in fly fishing. We do this by keeping the instructor to student ratio to an absolute minimum.
