Overview

Beh Kay Lodge is the newest operation in Espiritu Santo Bay, with plans to open next spring 2026. Final lodge info, photos and details are in-progress. Contact us now to be among the first guests to see this exciting new operation.

Beh Kay Lodge is the newest offering in Espiritu Santo Bay specializing in permit fishing, exceptional service, and fine accommodations. Situated on the coastline to Punta Herrero, Beh Kay is set to be Espiritu Santo Bay’s finest permit lodge. A collaborative venture between renowned angler and lodge developer Carlos Cortez and the experienced team at Nervous Waters, this exclusive oceanfront retreat offers unparalleled access to the legendary flats of Espiritu Santo Bay. Espiritu Santo Bay is one of the most fabled permit fisheries in the world and should be on every permit enthusiast list of places to fish. Anglers will find themselves at the epicenter of world-class fishing, targeting abundant populations of permit, tarpon, bonefish, snook, and barracuda.

The lodge features a collection of five geodesic domes with double-occupancy—each offering air conditioning and private en-suite bathrooms, ensuring comfort after a day on the water. The cuisine and service will mirror the high standards set by Nervous Waters at their esteemed global locations, providing a dining experience as extraordinary as the fishing.

With its exceptional setting and unparalleled access to top-tier fishing, Beh Kay is poised to become one of the premier destinations in the world. Secure your spot at this exclusive new lodge and be among the first to experience what will undoubtedly become one of the Caribbean’s most coveted fishing retreats.

Fishing Program

At Beh Kay, guests can expect some of the highest level of guiding in Espiritu Santo Bay. The guides have been curated and formed into a team that works together for the betterment of guests and their experience on the water. This type of mentality is generally unheard of in most fishing venues, as guides tend to have their spots and when those spots are fishing well, they keep it to themselves. With Beh Kay, guests change guides daily with a consistent guide rotation throughout the week. The guides have realized that if they all continue to share knowledge and intel about what areas are fishing best on any given day, they all benefit more.

Guests at Beh Kay will fish from 19-foot skiffs with a single guide and rotate fishing throughout the day. Expect a full day of fishing to last 8-hours, including travel time. Fishing from the boat provides the most opportunities to catch fish, but there are wading opportunities for anglers that want to target fish on foot. While the bay is most well known for it’s permit population, it provides plenty of opportunities for other species such as bonefish, tarpon, snook, snapper, jacks, and barracuda. If anglers happen to be visiting in the latter half of the lodges season, August and September have potential for some migratory tarpon in excess of 100 pounds.

Accommodations

The lodge is set on a beach front property with five domes with two queen-size beds and air conditioning in
each dome. Single Rooms are provided at an extra cost if available. The Main Lodge has a dining room, lounging area, fly shop, fly tying desk, an open bar, telephone, and Wi-Fi available. Full room cleaning service, as well as laundry service available at an additional cost.

Meals are crafted daily by their on-site chef and there will be a la carte daily menu made with the best
ingredients, to get a fresh local feel. Lunches each day are custom ordered with cold drinks, and these are taken on the boat in Yeti coolers. When arriving after a day of fishing, guests will be received with a delicious
cocktail, appetizers, and dinner. If there are any allergies or dietary restrictions, the lodge can cater to everyone’s needs.
