Classic Trout hits the tight spots

"This Redington Classic Trout 5wt is a superb fly rod. My 5wt 8’6” has added precise accuracy to cast made into tight spots, like trees hanging low over the water or into openings in a lily pad field. This rod casts the RIO SonarTitan Sink Tip and other sink tip lines with percision even at distances exceeding 40ft. Great rod, awesome customer service from Far Banks, a great arsenal of fly fishing gear."

Excellent performance, great accuracy in the 8'6"

"Got the 5wt 8'6" and ran six different fly lines through it as a test . . . it pitched them all on target and asked for more. I ran floating, short heads, double tapers, sinking line and even an old peach, and this Classic Trout liked them all. I couldn't believe my eyes when it shot a sinking tip 3ips over 52ft and the mock fly hit the target."

— AMallory (5/5)

LOVE this rod!!

"I got the 376-4 classic trout, and man, it's my favorite rod for small streams in the mountains here on the East Coast! I like it so much I think I might get a 590-4 to replace my current 5wt."

— DocMed (5/5)

Perfect small water combo.

"Love the action and weight of the Classic. Pairs perfectly with the Run reel."

— William S. (5/5)

"Great gear at a Great price!"

Great Little Rod

"Great little rod when matched with a Rio line like the creek or gold standard. Flicks a fly right to the spot, senses all the riffs in the riffle and has plenty of back bone to set solid. This rod is fun to fish a small creek and get true sensitive fishing experience out of a small creek run."

— Andy V. (5/5)
