"I have used this reel on the canal ,on the side of the lake and on my fishing vessel. I've caught everything from carp to sm mouth bass. And a old Budweiser can almost forgot that but I love it. It's easy to use and for the price you can't go wrong with the 456 preload. I even bought one for the old lady and she has never fish let alone fly fish. Everytime I cast something sees to come back. Buy it I'm going to get one for my son for his bday."

"I haven’t used the product yet. I’ve only added the backing and line. The drag seems to be pretty good and the bearing smooth. The manufacturing seems good but the materials do seem cheap. But hey, I can buy 5 of these for the price of most reels."
