Bring Back the Hydrogen!!!

"I was truly hoping that you would bring back a rod with an action like the Redington Hydrogen—a true medium to medium fast rod. This certainly is not that. It is quite a bit stiffer and heavier. The rod felt almost dead after 50-55 feet (no haul and yes our pond is painted with a 10' grid so we know distances. Maybe I am old and my reflexes aren't what they used to be but this rod was not for me. I am sure there will those who will like it because it is more fast than medium fast as advertised."

"So far I am very impressed with the overall quality of the rod. Beautiful job on the full-wells cork handle and fighting butt. I used a floating practice line and it casted very well. I purchased a Rio Elite Warmwater Predator 7wt. WF Floating line for it and hope to get out and try it on some bass later this week. I am sure it will perform very well for me. Will send pictures!
