Now the world’s most prolific trophy rainbow trout lodge is also easy to reach! Starting in October 2024, guests will again have the option to add a one-hour charter flight to and from the lodge to their base package and bypass the six-hour ground transfer that has been in use for the past four years. This is not only the lodge with the highest catch rates on the lake, it‘s also the only lodge with a charter flight into it!
For guests taking advantage of the round-trip charter flight, there will be an additional $820 per person for the 2024/2025 season. There will be two flights each Saturday morning with six guests per flight plus fishing gear and personal items. The lodge has made great improvements to the road over the years, and the ground transfer is still included in the base package for guests who do not want to fly, or in the event the charter flight cannot safely operate due to weather conditions.
The lodge has also finalized an exclusive arrangement with their charter company to provide flight service directly to Jurassic Lake from other Patagonia cities including Rio Grande, Rio Gallegos, Rio Pico, Bariloche, and San Martin de los Andes. These flights will likely be cost prohibitive for single anglers but can open some wonderfully convenient doors for groups looking tack on a trophy rainbow trout trip to Jurassic Lake Lodge to extended travels in Patagonia.
