Protect Your Trip With Fly Fishing Insurance
For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. With over 20 years of experience sending anglers to far corners of the world, we believe most travelers should strongly consider trip insurance. Most of the destinations we represent require a 50% deposit and full payment a minimum of two months before the trip. All payments made to Fly Water Travel are forwarded to guides, lodges, and outfitters shortly after they are received. Once payments have been forwarded, they are subject to the cancellation policies of each individual guide, lodge, or outfitter and most have a strict “no refunds” cancellation policy, regardless of the circumstances, unless a replacement is found. Fly Water Travel is not in the business of selling insurance. However, as a service to our customers, we have researched companies and offer information and booking links to the companies that we have found to be respectable. Our sincere hope is that no one traveling with us would ever need travel insurance or a medical evacuation, but the reality is that things do happen, and travel insurance can provide a means of recourse against non-refundable financial losses.
Recommended Fly Fishing Travel Insurance
Please note that fly fishing travel insurance is the sole means by which Fly Water Travel will be able to assist you with compensation for a canceled trip. The companies we recommend are Travelex and Global Rescue with IMG Signature Travel Insurance. Travelex is often the lower-cost provider and is suitable for most trips that are reasonably close to home and first world medical facilities. If you are traveling further abroad or to remote areas, Global Rescue with IMG Signature Travel Insurance is the best choice. No representation or description of the insurance made by Fly Water Travel constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.
