Solar Eclipse at Jurassic Lake Lodge

We would like to share a unique opportunity for an immersive once-in-a-lifetime fishing experience at Jurassic Lake Lodge.

We would like to share a unique opportunity for an immersive once-in-a-lifetime fishing experience at Jurassic Lake Lodge during their “30th Anniversary Eclipse Week” from September 28 - October 5, 2024.

Thirty years ago, the last annular eclipse graced the skies of Argentina.  That same year, rainbow trout were introduced into the waters of the Barrancoso River.  Now, exactly three decades after the cosmic event, it repeats right over the sky of Jurassic Lake.

This is your time to witness how daylight turns into surreal twilight around you, and most importantly, observe the impact of the “ring of fire” on the behavior of the fish as they are suddenly immersed in the twilight as the eclipse passes over Jurassic Lake on October 2, 2024.

Jurassic Lake Lodge is offering a special opportunity to have the lodge for a limited group of 8 anglers to experience the eclipse.  This is a first come first serve basis for guests to enjoy an intimate and once-in-a-lifetime experience.  The group size is limited to 8 to provide the best experience to different parties attending this special event.
