"New favorite rod. Great for landing dry flies softly to spooky fish"
From small creeks in the East to high alpine lakes in the West, the 370-4 BUTTER STICK gives you slightly more reach without over powering the small native trout that inhabit these waters.

The BUTTER STICK brings nostalgic design from the days of shag carpet, roller disco, and Hendrix rippin'. And like all things good and vintage, it's as aesthetically pleasing as it is fun and functional. Whether you're fishing blue lines for brook trout, slingin' dries on a tasty tailwater, or chasing bucket mouths at your local bass pond—the BUTTER STICK bend will have you buggin' out.
Fresh for this season is a brand new Translucent Sunshine Yellow blank which looks as radical as it feels in hand. Our T-glass construction improves overall rod strength and our Heritage Design provides a classic medium action casting stroke—taking you back to a time when living in the moment was everything. We've also added new upgrades to the handle, including a Traditional Half Wells for a more comfortable grip, a cork reel seat for (even more) retro styling, and a Threaded Lock Nut to keep your reel exactly where you need it. Now a 4-piece rod for smooth travel and convenient storage.

"Great purchase from Redington! Well worth the price and feels better than the same version from another rod company whose name has something to do with booze. Fit and finish is quite nice, no errors found on the blank or in the markings. Have used it in small, brushy creeks for big ol brown trout, and stocked alpine lakes for rowdy rainbow trouts. Loads like a dream and can huck casts out there, further and more accurately than I anticipated. Presents dries nicely, especially in super tight creeks. Highly recommend if you want to get a glass rod."

"Fun. I'm now looking for more freestone creeks feeding into our favorite big-name rivers. Simon's small creeks video convinced me to add a 3wt Butter Stick to my quiver. Wish I knew where that video was shot..."

"The rod cast very well, it tracks nice and straight and it's nothing like the old glass rods. I put an abel brown trout on it and the colors just pop."
