Great action and looks so good

"Love the claymore! The 6wt has great action to it and held up well on the steelhead we have landed with it! Also worked great for big trout in the 4-6lb range"

Solid rod and great value.

"I took the new rod out for a test drive on a windy day in SE Wyoming to fish Stillwater. The rod performed well and had a lot of power for a rod in this price range."

Claymore 7116

"I have about 10 hours fishing this rod so far and have really enjoyed it. I have it paired with a 500 grain Rio Skagit Max Power and it cast effortlessly. So far I've fished 10ft of T-11 and a 5/5 T-8 MOW tip - both felt great."

I bought this Claymore as

"I bought this Claymore as a back up to my sage, and so I used it several days So I could assess its performance at catching coho. I was lifting T14 mow tips with heavy flys with little difficulty and self netting 10 - 14 lbs coho and loved the rod. I would not hesitate to use it as my primary rod."

Curt R. (5/5)

One of the best!

"Where to start. I love this rod. It had been my go to rod for steelhead. I love using the skagit Max power for larger flies and running the scandi short for them delicate presentations. It casts like a dream and is strong enough for them big winter steelhead."
