Unfortunately, I have had two issues with these boots that started at around the 5th month of ownership. Now 7 months into wearing the boots they are out of commission.

ers have experienced and documented that results in a flaw that might be avoided with some additional care.
The stitching along the inner arch where the dark synthetic outer material meets the upper material fails, allowing grit/gravel to enter the inside of the boot. This creates discomfort, adds weight to the boots as they fill with grit, and ultimately wears on the neoprene booties of your waders when the grit makes it to the inside of the boot.
The potential solution: My suggestion for preventing/delaying this is to apply some form of adhesive (super glue, gorilla glue...something with some flex) to this stitching when the boots are brand new, and then cover the adhesive and stitching with a fat bead of Aquaseal.
2.) The other issue with these boots is the eyelets for the lacing either shred the laces, or pop off of the boot's outer material when synching down the laces. Laces can be replaced - the eyelets cant.
If Redington could find a way to correct these two issues, I think this would be a great wading boot. Read LessRead less about First, I want to say that the comfort
