a 6 pc. travel, was well within expectations, if not even lighter. What I found as a real standout, was with the extra strength of the additional rod joints, this provides a little more back bone for a 5 wt. and easily allowed upweighting to a 6 wt. line for heavier line applications. The rod handled several 5 wt. lines really well and does it accurately with good distance and line speed. This rod will be a main go to in my travel arsenal. Well done Redington, I strongly encourage a 7 wt. and even a 9 wt. be added to this travel concept; and do keep that hot chili pepper color, it was a big hit!
