WRANGLER 790-4

"So far I am very impressed with the overall quality of the rod. Beautiful job on the full-wells cork handle and fighting butt. I used a floating practice line and it casted very well. I purchased a Rio Elite Warmwater Predator 7wt. WF Floating line for it and hope to get out and try it on some bass later this week. I am sure it will perform very well for me. Will send pictures! Tight lines! Jeannie"

Throwin junk

"I am very pleased at the quality of the components and the cool look of this rod! For the I price, I am not just pleased, but pleasantly surprised and impressed. After a bunch of days on the Flathead and Missouri Rivers this past week test running a pair of these rods, I'm stoked. My goal was to build a couple rods at reasonable that a novice or more skilled angler can throw streamers with. I built a pair of 7wt Wranglers, Spectrum C 7/8 reels with Rio fast sink Streamer Tip. They are smooth and quick picking up the sinking line and have enough backbone to throw minis and larger streamers also. My angler this week is newer to streamers and this rod allowed her to easily cast 50'. With a haul I had no problem casting this rod 70' fairly accurately. Good job Redington, thank you!!!"

Great for the price

"I ordered this rod over another rod I had in mind due to its price point. I was looking for a rod that would deliver a sink tip for streamers and floating line for dries. After testing both of my reel set ups I can say this rod absolutely is capable of both. I am very pleased with the medium/fast action and how it allows me to be versatile. Hiking down into the black canyon of the gunnison in a couple weeks and will absolutely be bringing this rod. Thanks reddington for the awesome price point on such a versatile rod. Note this is my 4th reddington rod and none have been a disappointment."
