Great Stillwater line!
"Great Stillwater line when fish are in shallow. Easy to see, and when paired with long leaders the Hover is deadly."
An intermediate sinking line built for camouflage and stealth with low-stretch, ultra-slick performance
Primary: Lake / Ultra-Slow Sink

RIO's Elite Sub-Surface line is an intermediate sinking line with a sink rate between 1.5 and 2 inches per second or hover option at less than 1 inch per second. This line is built with a unique camo coloration in the head that is extremely effective when targeting wary fish in clear water and is deadly efficient for fishing between 2ft and 6ft depth in lakes. The line also features a "hang marker" approximately 20ft from the front end for fishing the hang, or judging when to make the cast.

"This hover line is excellent for specific conditions while hunting big trout cruising the shallow weeds beds, and marl flats of quality still waters. It’s a perfect line to fish callibaetis and damsel nymphs, and fills the slot between a intermediate and slow sinking line."

"Very good service"

"Great line for Pinks and Cohos from the beach. Keeps the line tight just below the surface chop so you can feel the soft takes of the Pinks. The 6wt worked well on the Vice 696-4 and Claymore 3113-4. The 8wt was great on the Sage 890-4 and Claymore 5123-4. The very slow sink rate let’s you keep the fly where the fish are."
