For over 20 years, Jon Hazlett has spent the bulk of his time guiding steelhead and teaching Spey casting in Oregon and California.
Jon first picked up a Spey rod in 1999 and has dedicated himself to the craft of two-handed casting and swing fishing ever since. A fun, entertaining, and inspiring teacher, Jon is probably best known for his video presence in the Spey world. Through his productions many budding Spey casters have improved their games and had some laughs along the way. Jon resides in Southern Oregon near the Rogue River where he enjoys almost year-round steelhead fishing.
Jon is both a Sage and RIO Ambassador.
