Starting with the traditional Sage Brown blank color and finishing with the Beige silk screen, the CLASSIC R8 aesthetic is unmistakably Sage, and in between, Chestnut and Beige thread wraps complete the package. These natural colors were taken from days before social media and video calls, encouraging anglers to slow down and observe the surroundings before making a first cast.

A rod named CLASSIC surely must have a fitting reel seat and wood insert. CLASSIC R8 rods feature a Flint-colored reel seat designed from scratch, machined and anodized from aerospace aluminum into a retrospective design of engravings and knurling. We chose distinctive, extra-figured Walnut wood for the insert, which complements the blank and thread wrap colors while also exhibiting its own unique patterns.
