Spey on the Gaspé is an exclusive program with Simon Gawesworth that begins with two days of in-depth classroom sessions and on-river casting instruction, followed by four full days of fishing the St. Jean’s storied salmon waters. Dates: May 27 – June 3, 2026
Itinerary:
May 27, 2026: Arrive at the Pavilion on the St. Jean River for orientation, gear overview, and an evening of appetizers, dinner, and camaraderie.
May 28: Morning classroom session covering Spey gear and casting principles, followed by an afternoon of on-river demonstrations and practice. Evening appetizers and dinner at the lodge.
May 29: Continued classroom instruction in the morning with an in-depth afternoon session on casting theory. Relax with appetizers and dinner to close the day.
May 30 – June 3: Five full days of guided fishing on the legendary St. Jean River, with two anglers per guide. Riverside lunches are provided, and evenings feature appetizers, dinner, and lodging. Guests will be transferred to their hotel in Gaspé after the final dinner.
Rate: $8,000 USD per person for the 7 night/7 day package
